Dr. Darren D.K. Wong

Dentist

Dr. Wong has been passionate about providing high-quality, personalized dentistry for over 20 years, and he says that knowing he has the ability to change a patient's life for the better is by far the best part of his job as a Honolulu dentist. Nothing makes him happier than when a patient shows their appreciation because he has worked hard to give them his best, whether someone is coming in for a dental checkup or a smile makeover. Dr. Wong earned his dental degree from the University of California at San Francisco, and over the years, he has taken over 100 hours of continuing education focusing on subjects including dental implants, Invisalign, facial esthetics, orofacial pain, and sleep dentistry.

Dr. Wong actually majored in finance at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and he then worked at the Bank of Hawaii for five years in their investment/fund management division. He eventually decided that he wanted to help people in a different, more personal way, and this led him to where he is today.

Dr.Lauren Lau

Dr. Lau earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Seattle University. She worked as a dental assistant in a pediatric dental office before attending and earning her DDS degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. She left her home state of Washington to follow her fiance back to Hawai’i and completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through NYU Langone at Waimanalo Health Center.

Dr. Lau loved going to the dentist as a kid and her fascination with teeth started when her mom used to read her a children’s book about losing teeth and getting adult ones! Dr. Lau strives to make dental visits comfortable and enjoyable and aspires to connect with her patients and help them have wonderful dental experiences - just as her childhood dentist did for her. In addition to creating beautiful, functional and healthier smiles she enjoys creating long lasting relationships with her patients.
